We have made some improvements since the first release of the Google Hangouts integration.
When organizing a Hangout, you are likely to invite participants. Previously, the way to do that was to copy/paste the workshop code into the Hangout chat, then participants had to go to the dashboard and paste the code to the "join a workshop" form.
It's much easier now: just share your workshop location right from the invitation box.
When you share your worshop, participants will see it displayed in realtime on their dashboard:
