The Human Spectrogram

Don’t be put off by this somewhat barbaric name! It is actually a very simple process to help you profile a large group of people. human spectogram This spectrogram is based on the FourSight creative profiles: in this example, you can notice a good balance between the four profiles

What is it good for? When should I use it?

Why?

In order to gain an in-depth understanding of your colleagues’ personality, be aware of their distribution and identify your team’s main assets. You can use a standard typology (FourSight, MBTI, DISC profile, or any other leadership style
) or create your own.

For instance: during an HR seminar, after the participants filled out a form on their leadership style. Or, as an ice-breaker, to answer a question such as “Describe your ideal manager”. You can also use it to know what kind of expertise, ranging from “Not at all” to “Perfect command”, the participants have on a specific topic or tool.

How?

You can download your colleagues’ pictures beforehand or ask them to take a picture on the day of the event, depending on how much time you have (plan 10 more minutes if you do). Every picture is held in a reserve cluster. Thanks to the Canvas feature, participants will move their own picture into the category which fits their profile. You can then sit back and observe the results.
