In August, Alexandre went to meet our transatlantic friends as a guest to Mindcamp Conference 2015. He took the opportunity to stop by Toronto to provide a Stormz training, on request of Ginny Santos. This meeting is now showing results with some new appointments for Alexandre in Canada and in the US: from November 10th to 13th, 2015. What a good opportunity to meet- contact us/en/) to arrange an appointment!
But first of all: the feedback on this enjoyable summer.
From CPSI to Mindcamp ...
Back at CPSI 2015, Alexandre met Tim Hurson. Key figure in the creative world and organizer of the Mindcamp, Tim Hurson invited Stormz to organize a workshop and to present our tool during the preconferences that happen prior to the event.
A busy schedule was proposed to the participants with more than 85 sessions from August 20th to 23rd, 2015. Here is an overview of some experiences to which Alexandre took part:
- Neuro-Brain Bootcamp - 4 Neuroscience Keys to a Creative Brain with Gina Paigen
- Fountain of Creativity with Matteo Catullo
- Sensing Journeys, Illuminating your Blind Spot with Brad Wong
- Fun with Tetrads with Franca Leeson & Tim Hurson
- Staying awake, Somatic practices to co-create our collective future with Newell and Allie
- Mindcamp Labyrinth with Joe Miguez & Simon Fransen – a classic! A wonderful piece of work produced by Alexandre during Matteo Catullo's workshop.
CSI (Collaboration Scene Investigation): Toronto
No time for a break: right after the end of Mindcamp, Stormz led its training session with an audience of experts in creativity and facilitation. We presented the Stormz immersive demonstration through our favorite method (the projection into the future). The 20 participants tried out the various features of our tool and then created their first workshop.
A gratification result.
Lets put aside the 8 flying hours and the too short stay in this fabulous country (Alexandre therefore didn't manage to meet the Crea Conference Québec teams)... But the several meetings were full of enthusiasm and good mood which widely offset the journey.
Add on that Tim Hurson and Ginny Santos' outstanding hospitality – we would like to thank both of them warmly, the open mind and the ability to stay curious about new subjects for the Canadians, while they are focused on very specific thematics like neurosciences.
We will be back in November!
This first step seems to be the beginning of our Canadien adventures and more widely in North America. Indeed, Stormz is on tour through three metropolis in the new continent:
- November 10th, in Washington
- November 11th to 12th in Toronto
- November 13rd in Montréal
And in November 2nd : the first Stormz's Webinar in collaboration with Tim Hurson.
