We have updated the vote system to expand its possibilities. This brings two major changes:
- The -1, +1, +3 buttons have disappeared, you can now choose the exact number of points you want to allocate to a card
- You can now limit the maximum number of points that one can spend on a card To help you grasp the potential of the new vote feature, let me show you two different vote dynamics that you can achieve by playing with the settings.
The $100
What is it? You give each participant a budget of 100 points/dollars and you let him the possibility to spend all his budget on one card or to allocate it between several contributions.
How to set it up? Disable the negative points, enable the positive budget and set it to 100 points. As we want to be able to spend all our budget on one card, we also set up the credit limit per card to 100 points. See our help article to learn how to do that.
This is what participants will see:
Our top 3
What is it? Participants can choose up to 3 cards among all the contributions.
How to setup? Disable the negative points, enable the positive budget and set it to 3 points. Set the credit limit per card to 1 point only. In this configuration, participants cannot spend more than 1 point on a single card and cannot vote on more than 3 cards. See our help article to learn how to do that.
